go drag! munich<\/em>\u00a0<\/span>zelebriert Drag-Kunst von weiblichen, trans* und nichtbin\u00e4ren K\u00fcnstler*innen und findet auch in diesem Jahr wieder am PATHOS theater, schwere reiter, Gasteig HP8, im NS Dokuzentrum und an weiteren Orten in M\u00fcnchen statt.<\/p>\n

Das erste\u00a0<\/span>go drag!<\/em>\u00a0<\/span>Festival wurde 2002 von der New Yorker Drag King-Pionierin Diane Torr und der Berliner Genderperformance-Legende Bridge Markland in Berlin veranstaltet. 20 Jahre sp\u00e4ter fand dort auch die zweite Ausgabe statt, leider ohne die inzwischen verstorbene Diane Torr, doch daf\u00fcr hatte Bridge Markland nun die lokalen Drag Artists Nancy Lund und Olive Baldwin an ihrer Seite.<\/p>\n

Mit dem Gasteig HP8, dem PATHOS theater und der M\u00fcnchner Co-Kuratorin – Drag-K\u00fcnstlerin Ruby Tuesday – hat\u00a0<\/span>go drag!\u00a0<\/span><\/em>2024 eine Heimat in M\u00fcnchen gefunden. Auch 2026 werden wieder Theaterst\u00fccke und Cabaret-Shows, Vortr\u00e4ge, Workshops, Parties und Diskussionen mit lokalen und internationalen K\u00fcnstler*innen angeboten.<\/p>\n

Cynthia war ein Model, ein New Yorker It-Girl und eine Ber\u00fchmtheit der 1930er Jahre.
